Liberia is in West Africa. It is the oldest independent country in Africa. It was settled and founded in 1822 by free slaves from the U.S.A. and Caribbean and became an independent country in 1847.
Liberian has a warm, tropical climate with a rainy and a summer season. The rainy season begins in April and lasts through September. The summer “dry” season begins in October and lasts until March.
